To be eligible for the program, you must be:

• Enrolled in or have completed a degree or diploma related to the internship.
• Must demonstrate the equivalent of $500 per week savings for the planned duration of stay in Australia.

Yes, Elisse can assist with flight bookings and suggest reasonable fares.

Elisse have dedicated staff available for support 24 hours a day so that in the event of emergencies you can be provided with assistance.

Applicants may be able to work in Australia depending on the Visa type and conditions granted by the Australian government. Applicants must demonstrate that they have a minimum amount of funds at their disposal to pay for living expenses during their stay (refer to eligibility requirements).

Unfortunately Elisse cannot guarantee a permanent position with your host company.

Once we receive your enrolment confirmation Elisse will provide you assistance in your preparation and submission your application.

The majority of Visa applications we assist with are successful. In the unlikely event you are unable to attain a suitable Visa we will issue you with a refund of your deposit minus a $300 admin fee.

After you have given Elisse all the required documents it generally takes approximately 3-4 months to ensure you are able to commence your work experience in Australia. We recommend that you arrive to Australia at least 1 week prior to the internship start date to settle in.

Yes, Elisse will arrange an interview between you and a representative from the host company. It is important that you communicate your requirements to Elisse at the initial meeting so that we look for the right company for you.

An initial deposit of 30% is required upon enrolment. The remaining balance must be paid upon agreement of the host company. A full refund of the deposit will be issued in the event Elisse is unable to secure a host company.

After paying the enrolment fee, should you wish to cancel, your enrolment fee will only be refunded less a $300 admin fee, in the following circumstances:

• You become seriously ill
• Your Visa is rejected
• Extenuating and unforeseen circumstances vetted by Elisse

Applicants have the choice of arranging their own accommodation or requesting Elisse to organise the accommodation. If you would prefer to have Elisse find you accommodation, Elisse can provide you with pre-approved accommodation.

Yes, many applicants request a second internship on completion of the first internship.

Working rights will depend on the Visa that is issued to you by the Australia government. Applicants must demonstrate that they have a minimum amount of funds in their account to pay for living expenses during their stay (refer to eligibility requirements).
Students undertaking the program will be responsible for:

• Discussing goals and expectations in the interview with the host organisation in order to establish what roles/tasks the student will undertake during the internship and whether this adheres to course requirements.
• Other course requirements such as duration and documentation should also be discussed.
• Respecting confidentiality of the host organisation’s information.
• Being professional and responsible in the workplace
